The health industry is no exception, which has also entered this realm in order to increase efficiency and effectiveness. But in general, what is the meaning of Robotic Process Automation?<\/p>\n<p>Robotic Process Automation or often known as RPA, is a robot with the ability to imitate human activities. Robotic Process Automation is software that can imitate human activities on a computer. However, do not underestimate this software, because the ability to imitate it can be almost perfect up to 100 percent. Robotic process automation bots, can enter or log into systems or applications, and can enter data. The RPA software also can complete the task, then it will exit the system or application. Robotic process automation was developed before 2000, but became increasingly popular in the community in early 2000. It can be said that RPA is an evolution of 3 main technologies, These are Screen Scraping, Artificial Intelligence, and Workflow Automation.<\/p>\n<p>Screen Scraping is a process for collecting screen display data, which comes from legacy applications. Until the data can be displayed in a more modern way by the user interface. Artificial Intelligence or AI is an artificial intelligence program that can perform tasks. Where this task generally requires human intelligence and intervention, while Workflow Automation is software that functions to eliminate manual data entry processes, thereby increasing efficiency, accuracy, and speed.<\/p>\n<p>Please note that there are three categories or roles of Robotic Process Automation in general, which are as follows :<\/p>\n<p>1. Probots, which function to process existing data, by following simple and repetitive rules.<br \/>\n2. Knowbots, which is used to surf the internet. This is to collect information and also store details about the user.<br \/>\n3. Chatbots, which are virtual agents which are tasked with responding to customer requests directly or in real time.<\/p>\n<p>Robotic Process Automation in general can be implemented quickly. In terms of technology, this software can have a function that plays a big role, especially in the speed of implementation. RPA is not part of the information technology infrastructure, but is on top of this infrastructure. With this, it will allow the users to implement it quickly and efficiently. This certainly affects the automation of existing processes, such as legacy processes without the need to replace the existing system. Bots in RPA can imitate work done by humans, such as input, process data, mouse clicks, and so on, which means that these bots can perform tasks performed by humans using ERP. These advantages make Robotic Process Automation in general very suitable to be implemented in companies that have a lot of infrastructure.<\/p>\n<p>The use of Robotic Process Automation in general must be done properly. Therefore, there are important things that need to be known and paid close attention. One of them is scalability, where prospective RPA users must choose a robotic process automation platform that can be managed centrally.<\/p>\n<p>Not only that, potential users must also pay attention to the scale of their use, whether massive or not. Companies that want to implement this RPA software should also be able to test and design RPA in less than a few hours. Companies must also be able to optimize bots so they can work quickly. Don&#8217;t forget, for companies, to look for tools that have built-in monitoring and analytics features. This is so that the system can always be &#8220;healthy&#8221; and can be monitored easily. In addition, simplicity also needs to be considered, where companies or organizations must look for simple products so that every employee in the company can build and use them in handling various jobs.<\/p>\n<p>In the health sector, RPA is very useful to help automate the Back Office, which sometimes becomes the basis for the treatment process in hospitals.
